Getting Around the Snowmass/Aspen Area

There are a variety of ways to get to Snowmass Village/Snowmass Mountain:

Driving:
It is a quick 5 minute drive to the ski slopes. A visitor parking pass can be provided with your reservation.

Free Snowmass Village Shuttle Service:
The Snowmass Village Shuttle (Service Route #8) stops at the corner of Meadow and Sinclair Road which is about two tenths of a mile from the house. The Village Shuttle is a very convenient way to get around Snowmass Village. The Village Shuttle offers free service in Snowmass Village from 6:45am – 7:00 pm to shops, lodges and hotels. Shuttle service is provided every 10 - 20 minutes leaving the Mall and circulates to eight different routes throughout the Town.

Taxi/Dial-a-Ride:
The City of Snowmass Village offers a taxi service to the ski slopes in cooperation with High Mountain Taxi. The service is available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the cost is $2 per person. (They recommend calling (970) 923-3030 thirty minutes before your time of departure.)

You can also take the bus from Snowmass Village to the other ski areas on the Free Skier Shuttle Service:
Free shuttle buses run 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. between the four ski areas - Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk Mountain and Snowmass. Shuttles run continuously during peak morning and afternoon hours. Evening buses within Aspen are free while Snowmass riders are charged a nominal fee.
