Skiing
In the winter months, the Snowmass/Aspen area offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in North America. In fact, it is the only resort in North America offering four outstanding mountains—all with one lift ticket! Come and Experience the power of four!
The four mountains—Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk—offer varied terrain for all levels of skiers and each mountain offers a different and unique atmosphere. Getting from one mountain to the other is easy—a free shuttle is offered between the four mountains.
Snowmass Mountain Snowmass is the largest of the mountains and features everything from easy, groomed slopes to expert terrain with sheer drops and challenging moguls. It also offers the longest lift-served vertical rise in the United States! Currently, Snowmass is undergoing an ambitious renaissance that will result in quicker lift rides and a new base village with fabulous new restaurants, new shopping, an amazing new children's center, and much more! 3,132 acres; easiest - 6%, more difficult - 50%, most difficult - 12%, expert - 32%

Aspen Mountain Aspen Mountain is set in the heart of the downtown Aspen and is famous for its steeps, bumps and incredible views. Featuring more expert terrain than Snowmass Mountain, Aspen Mountain is known for its double-black and tree runs that are fun for skiers and snowboarders alike. The town of Aspen offers the best restaurants, shopping and nightlife in the area.

Aspen Highlands Aspen Highlands is the best kept secret in Aspen area and is known as the locals' favorite mountain. It offers extreme terrain, groomed cruisers and breathtaking views of the Maroon Bells. For the ultimate ski/snowboarding experience, hike up and drop into Highland Bowl.

Buttermilk Buttermilk is a great beginner’s mountain as well as a great mountain for a day of relaxing groomers. But the expert need not be left out—they can frolic in the X Superpipe and terrain park, while others cruise on the wide, rolling trails.
